Our powerful file conversion technology is available via the flexible industry-standard REST API that can be easily accessed from any modern operating system, platform, framework and language (REST is an acronym for REpresentational State Transfer Architecture). The conversion engines run entirely on our secure and reliable servers, and you access this capability as AaaS/PaaS (application/platform as a service) without having to purchase or install anything, and without requiring any structural changes to your projects or applications. Further, there is no up-front cost and you pay only as and when your applications access and use these functionalities. This API enables you to convert just about any document file type to: • Plain Text (e.g., for content extraction) • HTML (e.g., for presentation within your application) • PDF (e.g., for dissemination via your project or application) • a series of JPEG, PNG or other bitmapped images, one image per pageSignificant Functionalities
