What Does Not Convert

• Spreadsheets containing hotlinks to external files may not always convert.

• Documents that link to external graphics (i.e., don't embed the graphics) convert, but the graphics will not be included.

• If converting to a file format that does not embed graphics (e.g., HTML), graphics will not be converted.

• Password-protected files generally cannot be converted.

Please ensure that the correct document or data files are uploaded for conversion. In most cases, the three-letter filename extension of the file being uploaded indicates the type of file. Common errors to avoid are:

• Uploading a link to a file (.LNK) rather than the file.

• Not extracting an attachment file, and uploading an email (.EML) instead.

• Uploading a program file (.EXE) rather than the document.

Note that incorrect files tie up our server and bandwidth the same as correct ones. Although you're welcome to try any conversion to see if it works, there is no refund due for conversions which are unsuccessful because incorrect files were submitted.
